Welcome to the Decision and Data Analytics Research Group at the University of Stavanger

Value can only be created through our decisions. Uncertainty is inseparable from all significant decisions. You can’t make good decisions without embracing uncertainty. We are a dynamic research group at the Energy Resource Department of the University of Stavanger. We are undertaking interdisciplinary research in Decision Analysis, Applied Machine Learning, Economic Valuation and Behavioral Issues in Decision Making Process.

We are a part of the Department of Energy Resources at the University of Stavanger and contribute to teaching and research in Computational Engineering and Geoscience and Reservoir Engineering. Past and current collaboration partners include NORCE Research Center, Equinor, the Research Council of Norway, the University of Adelaide and the University of Texas at Austin.

We are grateful for funding from the University of Stavanger, IOR Center, Faculty of Science and Technology and our industrial partner Equinor.
